Just tried an orc DK. >< Very mean. I fought a level 61 Tauren DK soon as I got to ogrimmer and I won. We were both specced the same but soon as I hit berserk I came back ftw! Orcs are awsome looking DK(Again coming from someone who doesn't play horde). Another orc dk chose to wield the sword. I mentioned that the orcs have + axe skills and he said yeah not enough to even care and the DK axe sucks. >< I don't think it does cause I beat him with it numerous times. Ok well back to human. Got hellfire runs in a bit. :D
Nelf, for the added dodge as he will tank someday.
Would have gone tauren if I was rolling horde for the added health. Plus tauren look sweet.

I kinda feel sorry for the forsaken death knight...
First, he fights the lich king, but...
dies and becomes part of the scourge under the thumb of the lich king...
then he breaks free of the scourge and becomes one of the forsaken, so he fights the lich king, but...
he dies and is taken in thrall to the lich king who makes him a Death Knight...
then he breaks free of the lich king and becomes a knight of the ebon blade, and he fights the lich king...

My first was Female human, for the sword and reputation bonus (plus i didnt have a single human altho 90% of my chars is alliance :P)
2nd was Female Belf, cause of the looks, ow and the interrupt is nice tho i allready choose :p
3th is Night elf for the buff in dodge and shadowmeld, shes gonna be tank, and while leveling my priest i totally fell in love with shadowmeld :P

Female Draenei. Because I think they are hot! ;p
But seriously now, I didn't make her for PvP or PvE. She is just casual character on RP realm. I never had alliance toon at high level before so I made her.

Heh. I chose a pink-haired female gnome, too. Of course, when modeling my DK after my 7 y/o daughter, what else could I pick? She even had the pink pigtails at the time I created the DK.
And who doesn't like short, evil females with a wicked laugh? I've got 2 of 'em in my house, now. (Wife and daughter).

I chose Draenei because I like the way they look. I've read on here all the "blah blah blah Draenei suck and Humans rock blah blah blah" stuff, but I really don't care. Plus I like the whole conflict RP-wise with Draenei DKs :p

We already have undead cows. Undead alien goats isn't that much more of a stretch.
Oh! You meant the whole warrior of the light/undead thing. Meh, it's still not that big of a stretch. There are tons of fallen paladins out there. Draenei just have tentacles.

I play an Orc DK because:
The extra tnket is nice from time to time,
Expertise with axes,
i like pvp and the stun resist s jsut great,
and somehow Belfs still manage to look gay even in the DK armor.

Blood elf simply because I roll Horde and they're my favorite race. Period.
Its nice to see people continuing to pick races based on preference and not racials. On horde I play an unholy undead DK. Pure evilness. :D I like that blood elfs but being unholy and being dead is just cool. On alliance I play a human which is my main dk. I play undead on a pvp/rp server. Already been killed about 5 times now. Orc may be strongest because of axe racials and berserk but undead just looks cool. :D

Ummm no. Mind freeze and strangulate. :D
3 interrupts (or 4 in deep frost) are so nice sometimes... so. very. nice. =)
And I don't see why it's "bad" to pick your DKs race based on the abilities that come with that choice. It's called min/max for a reason.
I don't look down on casual or RP players for their choices bases on aesthetics, why are hardcore players constantly looked down on for their choices?

I picked a Night Elf... yeah.
I've never had a Night Elf toon. I really regret my choice. I might do the character change thingy, atleast make it female if i gotta stare at the thing all day. I get shadowmeld...woo.
On my PvP server, I did a Tauren Cow dude. Him I like.

Night Elf. Simply because Shadowmeld is one of my favorite abilities and its saved me from a hefty repair bill on more than one occassion.

I'm suprised that no one has picked humans because of their everyman for himself. I personally like this because it frees up a trink slot that can be used for something else. Only diff between it and the trinks at lvl 80 is that the trinks have resilience. I personally picked humans cause Im tired of looking at NE's all day long, Dranari starting zone sucks IMO and I wanted to have to height so i didn't get "looked down upon" by the other races lol.

Nelf, I love the combat animations.
Or possibly because Quickness is nice for tanking and it helps with putting out more Rune Strikes.
