I jus started back on my Ret paladin and I'm 64 right now with this build http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=sZoZVfMtbIucrsxuho which is working out well...now I'm looking at end-game I wanna have something like this http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=sxVzZoZVfMtbIucrsxuAo but I'm wondering if I should drop acouple points in Ret either Fanaticism or Righteous Vengenace to get fully Imp.BoK, I'm asking if it's worth it...I want the points in Holy to get to Aura Mastery seems like it'll help in raids..or is that worth it? Should I forget about BoK completely or jus drop points in Ret and what in Ret should I drop to give points to BoK or should I drop my points in Holy or is my oringnal idea best..?

I'm torn help me WoW gods!

If you're not going to fully talent Kings, don't talent it at all. Period. Not just my opinion, but the opinions of many.

The points in Holy really are not needed at all. You won't be healing, so the talents taken to get to Aura Mastery are pointless. Really you're spending 11 points for 10 more yards to your Aura. Not worth it imo.

This is what I use when I spec Ret. Really shouldn't be any trouble picking up fully talented Kings as long as you leave out less-than-optimum talents.

So in raids in added range with your Ret aura doesn't help...I mean making healers heal alil faster has to help and range attack faster isn't worth it at all?

I'm sure the haste is good, but again you're spending 11 points to get one benefit. Look at all the options you have for spending those 11 points elsewhere and you can see why this talent is far less than desirable. If 3% haste was so critical I'm sure you'd see a lot more end game Ret Palys with that talent to make sure their healers/damage dealers would always get its benefit. As it is though you get far more out of those 11 points by keeping them in the Ret tree.

I'd hope that if I'm way off base here someone (*cough* Tommy, Tool, Bod *cough*) would have corrected me by now :)

You are right Maulgak, the spec that you linked would be the one to use when raiding. You have to use the majority of your points in ret and then from prot you should take Divine Strength as it is 15% more strength and more strength = more DPS.
