Mirror Image since 3.0.8Follow

Hi All,

In the patch notes for 3.0.8 I find the following :

Mirror Image: <snip> Mirror Images will no longer have excessive threat values assigned to them when they are created.

One of my fellow mages in our guild experienced some trouble yesterday during our first Naxx25 raid since the patch.

He's used to popping Mirror Image from the start and going all out. In the past, this has put him close to tank threat level, but (almost) never over it really. Yesterday, it seemed he pulled agro way easier than before. Looking through the patch notes, we found the above statement.

I am unsure as to what exactly this means though. Could it be that the threat level that was generated before the patch by the Images was a lot higher and now he's immediately surpassing them so he gets agro himself ?

I always interpreted Mirror Image as a period where I didn't have to worry about my threat level and I usually followed a Mirror Image up with an Invisibility as soon as they ran out and I noticed my threat is too high.

Does anyone have an explanation for this ?
