New dk, which spec for best DPS D:Follow

If you guys spent half as much time learning to play your damn class as you do flaming each other, you'd be half decent death knights.

Besides... I'm stuck at work. What better is there to do except to pick on the new guy?

Thanks sirmatt and galen. That is a good question. When to spec into frost for ani. o.o >< i'll mess with the talent calc and see what I come up with.

If you're Blood and want Annihilation, i'd wait til you're 80, but you can do it whenever you wish. Reason i'd wait til 80 is because mobs until then for the most part will die before you'd take advantage of it.

Here's a shot at it Soul

Level 63

I put the 5 points into toughness for the added bonus to Bladed Armor.

Frost damage isn't a big deal since you only have IT and frost fever for frost damage so you would benefit more from it.

Go 44 deep into blood to get to Heart Strike, then back over to Frost to get Annihilation. Until you get full Annihilation at 63, you could Death Strike for Death Runes.

Just a random thought :p

Not really raiding yet. But I am running rampts. Havn't got my shoulders yet. =( sadly. But god is it fun. Got 2 in dps charts vs. another dk same today. I was proud of myself. But mostly cause of all the help I get from you. The other DK ask me what I was doing to get so much dps. I was like proper rotation man. :D Proper rotation. :D All he was spamming was plague strike and death coil. Then asked why his rune power kept running out. I saved the long speech and told him to come here. I don't think he cast heart strike once..nore did he use oblit. =(
#63REDACTED, Posted: Jan 29 2009 at 1:30 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Now you understand why on the WoW forums, they always talk about how many bad DKs there are out there. Hopefully he will eventually learn the mechanics because classes are far more enjoyable when you have full control.

I always read about my class before playing it. So as I start to level I know what to do. I don't play a dk because of how tough they are. I play one because of the way they play. I consider dk's caster killers. I mean you use death grip and most I've fought bubble them selves. Mages=Mana Shield, Priest= bubble. One hit and shield is gone. Then I start my rotation but never get to far with it before they drop.

I enjoy the look and feel for how they play. I'm learning a whole lot about this class and I owe all that to everyone at the forums. :D
#65REDACTED, Posted: Jan 29 2009 at 7:36 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Right on, buddy. Keep the DK love alive.
