I was looking at some stuff today and something caught my attention. I was looking at the Mirror of Truth trinket and noticed that it say chance on MELEE crit to increase AP by 1000. Did they just recently change it to melee only or has it always been like that? Does this mean that there is really no trinket for us from the Emblem vendor then? Or is it just a typo in the tool tip for it?
Typo, still procs on ranged attack. 45 sec internal CD if i remember correctly. All in all an awesome trinket for us.

Still awesome since getting gear in WotLK is very very easy.
With a few days of raiding and doing some heroics you can easily get beyond 30% crit unbuffed which makes this trinket a good one.

Agreed, as even in my pre-raid outfit, I'm at 23% crit. You've gotta hit a few heroics to get the emblems for this anyway, so by the time you acquire 40, this should be a VERY good fit.
I have almost enough emblems of heroism saved up to buy something, but I'm hesitating on this, because I could see them fixing it in two ways--either change the tooltip to reflect that it will proc on ranged as well, or just take out the ranged component altogether.
I think I'm gonna go for the belt first instead, not sure about after that though.

The tooltip isnt going to change, this is the dps trinket that you can get from badge gear. It is for all physical dps classes. It is also one of the best trinkets you can currently get. Sartharion drops a good one, as does Sapho on heroic, those are the only ones that are in the same ballpark.

I personally like the trinket better than the belt. There is a very good belt that drops out of heroic UP.
