Hi ppl, i was just wondering if a rogues sap works on us in feral form, i swear a rogue sapped me once (purple balloon type halo over my head). If they can indeed sap us shouldn't that be removed as a bug? sap says it only works on humanoids and our forms are physical since they cant be dispelled shouldn't that make us immune?!
Edit when i believe i was sapped i was in cat form.

Look at the ability tooltip.
Sap works on Humanoids, Beasts, Demons and Dragonkin as long as they are not in combat.
... and I just didn't understand that part at all. O_o

Sorry about that , i looked at the spell on alakhazam that said this "Incapacitates the target for up to 35 seconds. Must be stealthed. Only works on Humanoids that are not in combat. Any damage caused will revive the target. Only 1 target may be sapped at a time." so i was alittle confused as to why it was working. Thanks for the information.
Well, actually, I guess it depends what level you are. I kinda assumed you were 70+ in Northrend.
Sap rank 4, gained at level 71 and the current highest rank, works on all types of targets mentioned above. All other Sap ranks should work on Humanoids only, based on the tooltips.

Actually i just looked this up again thats rank 4 which is a lot higher then my level, im lvl 39 so the rogues in BG shouldn't be able to do this then?!. They would only have a rank 2 so this shoulnt work. I have now checked rogue glyphs and the sap talent under subtelty and do not see any mention of being able to do this any earlier. So is this a bug?
Either a bug or Blizz was too lazy to update the tooltip of the older Sap ranks. I suppose at some point they changed it so that it would work on all targets (Cause I do remember in the Old World Rogues sapping in dungeons for CC) and didn't bother with the tooltips. :/
Sap was changed before WotLK to basically include everything with a brain, including beasts.
