Professions for a rogueFollow

#1 Jan 22 2009 at 9:36 AM Rating: Decent
Ive hit 80 with a couple characters, namely a Hunter and Paladin, and wish to start a rogue. Although I can make ample money on the other two, I still want to take only one crafting and one gathering profession, instead of the usual two gathering. I was thinking either Alchemy or Engineering. Anyone have any suggestions? Or is there another choice that may be better, possibly LW? Thank you.

I did leatherworking skinning until I was level 375 each, then learned engineering to replace skinning. Its up to you how you want to proceed, probably a gathering/crafting mix would be the best choice though as with gathering and crafting you can use the low level mats you gather while levelling to level up the one profession (i.e. mining and engineering or leatherworking and skinning) then drop the gathering profession once you hit northrend and pick up a different profession. It really depends on how much money you want to spend and if you want to farm the mats yourself.

I'm going to stay gathering for my rogue as it will support my levels until I reach 80. At 80 I will probably do what the above is doing and that is eng. :D
