I think he means... since 1h weapons have less DPS than 2h weapons, the DPS and FAP from 2 x 1h weapons would equal the DPS and FAP from 1 x 2h weapon...
While not completely illogical, it's not true, since typically the combined DPS of 2 x 1h weapons is higher than the DPS of 1 x 2h weapon (to compensate for miss rate and stuff I guess). So Druids would gain more FAP from DW'ing daggers in a typical situation.
Using two green quest rewards for example:
Bramblethorn Greatstaff: iLvl 138, 110.2 DPS, 772 FAP.
Shark Stabber: iLvl 138, 84.4 DPS, 412 FAP.
Meaning DW'ing with another dagger of the same iLvl would net 824 FAP, roughly 100 more than what one would get using a feral staff.
But anyway, I think a DW'ing mechanic for Druids would be way too complicated. Up the speed of the attack animation, but cause attacks to miss more often? Or like, your main-hand weapon attack animate your right paw while your off-hand attacks animate your left paw? O_o
I dunno, I like the staffs we get. Got used to the idea in BC. I like that they started adding FAP to different weapons but, I just thought they'd put FAP on weapon that, y'know,
we can use in the first place.
