Feral idols these days, especially tanking ones suck.
Below are the main tanking idols that are tank oriented.
Idol of Perspicacious Attacks - I feel this is the generic best unless for a pure single target fight.
Idol of Terror - Just glad semi-geared 80s can solo or 2 man H SP for badges.
Idol of the Wastes - Good for swipe spam or any rotation that uses swipe. It procs a lot in my experience.
Idol of the Plainstalker - A toned down version of the level 70 epic idol and if an 80 can easily get 20 badges why would anyone use this?
Am I missing any? I mean the AP ones are meh for tanking and mostly have PvP requirements. Any one hear about them giving us a few decent options for this slot?

Im using painstalker till i get my 20 badges from doing stuff when im bored, but yes, this is about as far as it goes tonk-idol wise
I heard a rumor that they would implement a new tanking idol in the next patch. Not sure what it will do or how to get it though.
With Blizzards imagination it will probably just be a buffed clone of idol of terror and bought with badges. Ofc the patch is still long overdue, so who knows when it will get here :/

I'm still perfectly happy with the Idol of Terror, myself.
Nuit Midril - White Mage/Scholar on Ultros
Nuit the Insane! - Retired Druid on Sentinels.
Ombre - Retired Dragoon/bard on Phoenix.
I haven't seen anything (yet!) I'd be willing to trade my Terror in for.
Aye, I recall that blue post. It mention that they were aware that wasn't a Tanking Idol and that they were looking into adding one. I don't recall the ETA on it.

I still have my Idol of Terror and did enough stuff in Grizzly to get the Venture coin one. Was using the swipe green for grinding and trash as I swipe a lot and try to AoE grind as much as possible. Terror is great for bosses and big single targets still.
While it would be nice to get one I think I would rather they fix other issues *cough*wintergrasp lag*cough* and drop the main druid patch before dealing with this minor irritant.

I dont care about all the new class-changes.
Blizzard should fix the Wintergrasp- and Naxx- Lag-Problems.
Raiding is currently a pain in the ***.
My guild only clears 3 Wings in Naxx25 in one day cause of lag-whipes .....
No fun to raid at all.

Ya I DC'd during Gluth tonight. Totally missed a Decimate but still managed to relog in time to taunt off the OT and down him or our guilds first kill.
My friend who was going to DPS and kite the zombie chews got DC'd at one point and took so long to relog we had to find another person.
He also had the same issue on 25 man OS and missed out on the kill.
Hopefully, the patch is tomorrow as mmo-champion is saying as of now and this issue is fixed.
Assuming that is done they need to work on making me a new tanking Idol.
