Improved Aspect of the Hawk - DROP POSSIBLE?!Follow

I have something that I would like some of the numbers people to think about. Is it possible to NOT have Improved Aspect of the Hawk?

With all the haste gear around (and assuming that any self-respecting hunter has the +15% ammo pouch or quiver), how much tool-tip haste ("Equip: Improves haste rating by...") is required to reach max speed?

The reason I ask is because a constant attack speed (without "Chance to increase your attack speed"-type items) has to be good. You could then create more reliable macros and would be a lot less likely to see "...not ready" errors.

For all that having a high attack speed is good for damage, not dropping / missing important shots (being constant) has to be at least as important.

I haven't seen any build drop Hawk, so there must be a good reason. I just don't have the brain for numbers to see it (or it's so obvious that I am looking too hard and have seen right past it). So:

1) How much is haste is required, to make up the amount that a Hawk proc would give you?

2) Is it possible / viable to not take Hawk and to rely on constant, gear-based, haste?

Bout the middle of this page are some tables that show how much haste you need to drop IAOTH and keep Steady on the GCD:

Or.... you could just do a manual shot rotation now that auto isn't linked.

Another reason people take it (BMs in particular) is that there is nothing else at that tier that gives a dps increase (even as small as it is).
