Hey guys. Finally got my account back up and running. Having no job sucks...badly. Anyways. I'm working on my mage seeing as I love being able to teleport to the city of my choice in the blink of an eye. But mostly just pure magic. Making own food and water is great. Currently level 24 almost 25. I don't know if I'm on the right track after not playing for a few months ><. Spent most of my time helping friends with there toons. Least I can do via email right? I'm hoping to hit level 30 in the next few days with mad questing. Am I on the right track. Want to get the most out of my mage. I'm a soloist. Ran a couple of instances like bdf, dm and rfk a few times. Is there a standard level 40 solo build that someone could post up so I can see were I need to be. I believe I've put points into abilities I don't need yet like Permafrost. I'm a constant reader on many class forums. But mage has just taken my total attention. Why I couldn't tell you if I new. I'm in a normal server. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've read the stickies but revolve mostly around pve builds and end game raiding specs. Not there yet. Will be with alot of work. Thanks

is a build for around level 40-42 to work towards. I left out winters chill because a couple of spells should kill the target anyway and no reason to be stacking the debuff. I filled out shatter (of course) and elemental precision for a bit better mana efficiency and to avoid resists while leveling (3% is what you need to not miss even level targets I believe). Beyond that just keep putting points in things that keep giving you spell damage/power and work on upward.
