The problem is that if you know which part of the FAQ is outdated and which isn't you obviously don't need the FAQ. However, a FAQ that is even only 1% outdated is 100% useless to the people that actually need it, because they can't tell which part is still valid. Refering new players to a FAQ that is entirely pre-WotLK is bound to be more confusing than helpful. And I'm sure that if a new player started talking about caster pets after reading the FAQ, many of the "friendly" people in this thread would give them sh*t for not knowing that this information is "obvously" outdated.
