Tree Healer and foot speed enchantFollow

Just putting on a new pair of Naxx boots, and I was wondering about the limited choices for enchanting "healing boots".

Instead of Greater Spirit +18

Thought I would consider

Tuskarr's Vitality +15 stamina / + 8 % run speed

Presently sitting at about +1900 healing in tree form / +800 MP5

The reason I might consider giving up the spirit is that positioning in Heroics and Naxx etc is so much more critical. Eg. following a Tank Around in Four Horseman.

My questions therfore are:

1. Do I get the 8% run bonus in Tree form;
2. Is the loss of the +18 spirt too much of a sacrifice;
3. Is the +8% speed just too small to make any real difference

For PvP I would say get it as the extra speed is more crucial there.

For raiding, meh for a healer, hmm sounds decent for DPS, and hell ya for a tank.

Just my opinion.

Tree move regular speed now and spells have a range. Druids cast a lot of HoTs. So seems less essential. DPS, feral at least, is melee so has more run from AoE moments. Tanking it is sweet. I want it but am waiting for the cost to decrease. Well my chanter told me no tell the costs go down. I will wait since I could pay now or get it free then.

I would splurge for the chant but I also am still saving for epic flight. Plus I give him DE stuff for a reason. I love having a designated DEer/bag maker. My main and now my alts are all most all full 20 slot bags. :) The free chants help too.

Go with spirit. A majority of the spells you're casting are all instant cast and your tanks should never really get out of range on 4 horseman. Unless if they're switching criss cross... But I don't think anyone would ever do that.

Before the removal of the snare trees had in BC I would have told you grab the speed enchant, because that made a world of difference. IE: Zuljin: Phase 3.

Also, if you raid with a dk, convince them to go unholy and get unholy aura its 15% to the raid and it can be quite helpful in getting from point a to point b faster allow your casters to start dps/healing faster.

Its tough to say in your situation which enchant to go with. At 1000 spirit and 1000 intellect, Greater Spirit provides about 6 mp5 inside 5-sec rule and about 4.5 spell power. Which considering the stats you provided seems relatively insignificant. Trying to compare that with Tuskarr's Vitality is tricky since it is difficult to give a purely mathematical value to a speed increase. Having said that I would only pick Tuskarr's Vitality if I found myself dying to AoE effects; the idea being that hopefully the speed increase would help you counteract either latency or slow reflexes. Otherwise I would stick with the Great Spirit.
