First off, let me note that I am a relatively new resto druid. Ran my first naxx 10 man full clear last night. (Got smoked on healing meters by uber geared shammy and priest). Still trying to work out what works best for what situation and all that.
Looking to upgrade my gear, I did some looking around and came across this idol. http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40711Looks good to me!" I did some reading about this item on some sites but, thus far opinions vary...
I have http://www.wowhead.com/?item=27886 in my bag and there seems to be a debate about wich is actually better... Is the Idol of Lush Moss bugged as was stated on some threads? Is it actually better?... Your thoughts please as I would like to know before making this buy

If it is bugged and people are talking about it I would expect Blizz to fix it when they do the next minor patch.
If you are gathering Emblems of Heroism at a reasonable rate I would wait to buy it until they fix the bug.
Actually now that I think about it a druid I know used me to test that idol and another one out. I forget the exact result. Might have been testing the Raven Goddess one not sure.
Maybe just buy it and run some tests. :) If your guild is clearing Naxx I would imagine you are running heroics as well. You will run out of badge gear to buy soon enough and the Idol is cheap.
Think of it as homework. Hell, I have the Idol . I'll check when I get home and see how much healing it adds.

This tells me that the idol is working fine:
125 spellpower * 66% coefficient for LB ticks = 82.5 total spellpower contributed, divide by 7 seconds to get 11.78 which I guess is being rounded up.
