During the course of making this list I have discovered that we don't have that many upgrades in 10 man raiding, meaning that is fairly easy to get geared for 25 mans without ever doing 10 mans. This is very true as I PuG some 25 content and have no real problems that can be traced back to my gear in general. This is probably due to 10 mans having similar quality gear to the last boss heroic drops.

Also some slots have way less choices, such as weapons. This is manly because while there exist other feral weapons (pre and post patch) the ones listed are better for tanking from a mitigation/survival stand point. If that sort of thing happens and one of the top items is extremely easy to get via crafting or heroics than I dropped all raid pieces below said item. Shoulder also fall in this category.

Additionally, I can't believe I edited in advice for new feral to solo Slave Pens for a few days to get the Idol of Terror. But as of now there is 1 decent and no bear tanking Idols that are very good beyond the old badge idol. The few listed are all better than the AP boosting ones for tanking. It makes me sad. I made a post about this asking if I was missing something and from what I can gather they know about it but it is not a priority.
