Am I ready for Raiding?Follow

Hello, I decided to turn over a new leaf and give PVE a shot. I used to be fully PVP with little or no PVE gear before WOTLK. Tho now its time for a change....Anyway I have ran a lot of heroics and im usually in the top 2 for DPS. Any changes i can make to my gear or gems to make me more effective in 10 or 25 man Naxx? Now I know i need to upgrade my gloves and i have been running heroic UP trying to get my "Gilt-Edged Leather Gauntlets" and/or stalking the AH for "Gloves of Fast Reactions" but no luck so far.

here is the link to my armory http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Ravenholdt&n=Devilsslave

Now i know im combat swords and people are going to say "MUT, MUT, MUT" But i'd like to stay with combat if i could. I do also have the MH "Greed" which is a great Fist weapon but idk if i should keep swords or maybe respect to fists?

Thanks in advance!

Its a decent start. Ditch the lvl 70 pvp hands though, either get the BoE blue Seafoam Gauntlets, or do the quest in CoT4 for the Handwraps of Preserved History, to hold you over till you get the Gilt-Edged ones, or T7 token from emblems. IMO its not really worth spending the cost on the Gloves of Fast Reactions, at least on my server they are going for upwards of 4k and they are only a little better then the T7.

Other then that you are off to a good start, you just need to get exalted with KotEH and argent crusade.

EDIT: Oh as for the Greed, personally I would suggest swapping to it until you can get a better sword.

Yeah, your gear is at least good to start doing 10 man runs. The DPS requirements for them is fairly low.

Thanks! Ill be looking into some replacement gloves tonight.

As for greed, i feel that with my spec i might lose dps for using a fist over the sword. I might have to use a spreadsheet for this one...

If you're considering using Greed instead of the Reaper sword, you might want to consider getting a dagger OH so you're not wasting talents on both CQC and Swords. There are some good daggers easily available, around the 130 DPS mark so you won't drop too much. Librarian Paper Cutter can normally be picked up off the AH.

You're also missing a couple of enchants - chest and wrists. These are almost negligible improvements but every little helps. You might want to hold off getting the chest enchant until you can pick up the epic chest from exalted Ebon Blade.

Yeah i was looking into getting a Krol Cleaver or Silent Crusader. Krol Cleaver is a great MH but the drop rate is bad. I just got my bracers 2 days ago and im going to be putting the +50 AP enchant on them. As for my chest, i totally agree with you Leodis. Im going to get my epic chest before i put an enchant on any chest piece. Plus im really close to getting that chest anyway (around 4k rep away) So i should have it soon. My hands are a bigger concern right now. I couldn't find anything on the AH last night. And i ran H UP with no luck once again..... : (

Edit for new question::::

Should i be using mongoose as the enchant for my OH or MH? Or should i go with Berserking? I have mongoose on my OH right now. It only cost me 65g :)
