Not generally the thing we see posted here, but due to the content of this video, as well as the storm it's taken the WoW community by, I thought I'd post it here. I specifically wanted to mention that this video has seriously got me thinking about going back to combat swords (no, it's not a PvP video).

Have a look and enjoy thoroughly.

Wow. Someone certainly did an amazing job on this video. I'd like it to be longer, to see the developing story. I felt as if I walked in during the middle of a movie. Haha. The looks the two rogues kept giving each other made it seem like they knew each other and I wanna know who the big-winged woman was. Ahh, I want answers :)

Human: SI:7
Elf: Unknown assassin
"Big Winged Woman": Alliance Onyxia. She's basically been standing next to Bolvar Fordragon the entire bloody game, until Wrath.

As for the looks, it would most likely be little more than mutual appreciation for the opponent's skill and style.
The movie's creator have stated he has considered making one movie for each class, in a similar fashion to this one.
The skill shown clearly shows that this guy is a professional animator, as he's ripped apart every WoW Engine animation and made his own instead.

heh, Yeah - the looks they gave each other appeared to be mutual respect ... but I think Mathias Wrath looked after her with a bit too much yearning at the end for there to only be simple respect ;-) ... I think the head of SI:7 is falling for a Blood Elf .. oh the scandal !

As for it being a Machinama video, as stated, that's not quite true. All he's using is the WoW models and scenery .. so yes, it's pretty much a CGI movie based on WoW models. What's important though, is that every graphic you see in that movie - you can see in-game - aside from the copious amounts of extra animation moves, nothing else has been added.

He's mentioned that he intends making a "Series" of sorts, each video based around a specific class ability - this one being the Rogue's Blind. The ones on the short list are "Mark" (Assuming Hunter), "Counterspell" (Mage) and "Execute" (Assuming warrior). The thought of watching 2 mages rip the place apart on the same vein as this movie makes me very impatient to wait for the next installment.

The woman with the wings is actually Onyxia's Mother, which the alliance doesnt actually know, thats why after revealing her wings (while the alliance guys are conveniently blinded/looking the other way) and then she does the shhhh thing to the belf rogue, as for the scandall you talk of, its a common theme, think legend of zorro, batman and catwoman, two skilled fighters from opposing factions locking swords and wits, in almost a dance, the movie gives an impression that for both rogues its the first time they have met a foe with equal skill and they are both equally impressed, i believe the look of desire goes both ways, but difficult to say for sure with the simple wow faces.

anyways, fantastic movie, tho the music seems a bit quirky in the searching stage, but as the fightscene progresses and the song talks about hide and seek, it fits more and more, i surely hope that we see more from this animator, possibly the best machinma film ive seen to date

Dumbass. Lady Katrana Prestor is Onyxia, and it's common knowledge for anyone who's played Alliance for a while.
Onyxia's mother? Whose *** did you pull that one out of?

Someone posted that in the comments section for this movie on the Vimeo site. It went unchallenged for a few days, but some folks have corrected them now :)
