Good afternoon all.

First off, I wanted to thank everyone for the great information that's already been posted here. It's truely helped me out quite a bit.

Now, a group of us are starting to look towards Heroics, and I wanted to throw out the question here to see if I could pick your brains to see what I should be shooting for, or even if I am ready yet, for starting Heroics. Moreso in terms of Hit, Expertise, Armor Pen, Haste, DPS, etc...

Here's a link of my Armory as well for equip recommendations/pointing and laughing:

Martl

I know I have to get pretty near everything enchanted still, and will be in the very near future. (Stupid epic flying skill cost!) Getting a read on some target numbers will help me decide what enchants I need where.

Thanks in advance!

Looks good for the easier heroics really. I think the hit cap for heroic bosses is what, 6 percent? So you may want to gem/enchant a little more hit unless your regular group includes a dranei, in which case you can actually lose a little bit (until of course, you're ready to raid). Utgarde Keep is one of the easiest ones and has a great set of pants for plate DPS, pretty good trinket in H Nexus, another easy one. There are some relatively easy to craft items you may wanna snag, like Vengeance Bindings. Keep an eye on the AH for a Cloak of Bloodied Waters. In general though you should be good to put out some solid DPS.

There are no magic numbers, every stat is inter-relational with each other. Target numbers are really misleading IMO.

With that said though: Hit and Expertise seem to be the best DPS stat investments you can make until close to their caps (for a 2-hander: 8% hit = 263 rating and 26 expertise = 102 expertise rating, without talents). Unless some fundamental mechanics change that is.

After that I'm gemming Str and treating all other DPS stats as near-equal fourth considerations (well... to be honest I'd put Crit fourth-ish and Haste last with the others in between).

They're looking into Haste itemisation... all I can say is I hope they make it either reduce GCD by a whole lot more, increase Rune regeneration speed or reduce its itemisation cost to make it more stackable. Until then it's a wasted stat; the only Haste I have on my gear is that which I cannot avoid, like from Weapons.

I stack Hit, Strength/AP, Expertise and then Crit. After that is Arpen, Haste and finally Agi which is of so little benefit its hilarious.

Thanks for the advice all. Heroic runs have been going quite smoothly (except HoL...last boss is a pita). Upgrades keep coming in and dps going up quite nicely.

The really easy/lazy tac:

Take 2 healers : shammy and a random.

Tell your shammy to place Nature resist totems.
If there is a hunter in the group tell him to place his nature resist aura.
Tell your party to stay togeather and stand still. Dont run to avoid aoe.
Asign shammy to chain heal Group
Assign the other healer to heal the tank and help on others.
Tell your healers to cast heals as soon as the aoe starts.(Before you take damage)
Tell your DPS to do what they know to do best.

Thats it.

Alternative: Take a hunter or a shammy and start running....
The bosses location is made in a way that help a great deal finding your safe spots when the boss aoes
Tank him at circle.(1st tank spot) When he starts his aoe run Towards steps.Stop between 2nd and 3rd step.
Let the boss come and dps there.(2nd tank spot)
When boss does his second aoe go to next steps that are further down(3rd tank spot).Stop at 2nd-3rd step.Rotate
the boss to face the circle.(1st tank position)
Rotate all party to be closer to the 1 st tank position and start DPS.
The boss starts his aoe. Run for the 2nd tank position. Stop at 2-3rd step , DPS...
Repeat for original 1 st tank position and rotate again the boss to face 3rd tank position.
Rotate also the group
Repeat for as long as it takes.

Boss does some 10.000 damage and with some extra nature spells could go to +4.000 damage.
So its a good idea to allways:
Have some resists again the nature damage. The duo Shammy _hunter is the best for this
Players must have at least about 14.001 HP (lol)
