Logged on last night and found my armor in tank set had dropped from 27.9k to 24.5k. Meanwhile, more happily, my hit had leapt from 240 to 290+.

Has anyone else experienced this? Might this be the armor changes? I had presumed they'd arrive on patch day.

I read on mmo-champion that they didn't drop any sort of patch. But still what you're seeing is what the patch could do depending on your gear set up.

Try checking your armor rating with and without an armor ring/neck. Seeing what the change is will answer the possible stealth patch question. I'm at work or I would check.

No patch. Took off a ring with a bit less than 400 armor, and it took about 2k off of my armor count. My guess would be that for some reason you had dps rings on?

Well, it's not the armor nerf; I was able to experiment with some rings after posting this and it looks like I just lost almost 3k armor for no apparent reason. Either that or I've been misreading my armor all these weeks.

What baffled me more is/was the hit rating. It's back to normal today but I had just gemmed and enchanted some dps gear to get close to cap (would have taken me to 240) and last night I was at 292. Now I'm back down to 240. Perhaps I had some raid buffs that were kicking me up (though I'm pretty sure I checked after the raid split up) but I have no idea how that happened. And, unlike armor which I had a basic rounded total of 27k in my mind, I've tracked ever since dinging 80.
