How to Macro multiple spells?Follow

#1 Jan 06 2009 at 8:40 PM Rating: Decent
Hi,
I'm trying to figure out how to get multiple spells in one macro to work. For example, I immediately hit just about every mob I attack with Curse of Agony and Corruption (most likely followed by Immolation). Anyhoo, when I try to use both CoA and Corruption in the same macro, the second one doesn't fire ("spell not ready"). Is there a way to pause the macro between spells to gain the effect I'm looking for? Thanks.

/castsequence

You might try reading Cogwheel's Guide on the official website.

There is no way to have a macro cast more than one spell with a single click. Blizzard doesn't want or like that amount of automation.

That really depends on the situation in which you want to use a spell.
/castsquence only works if you plan on always using specific spells in a specific order. You might also like to only have certain spells during certain times, like [combat] and [nocombat]; and your minions could be a variable with [pet:]

Thanks, ohmikeghod the Venerable
I used to play FF and you could do that, but no biggie; you definitely saved me the time of trying hundreds of combos of text, and for that I am most appreciative. Also, Cogwheel's Guide is a great help. Thanks again. Play on.
