For your quests, you should see yellow exclamation marks on the map right where you start out. Just go accept all those quests and do them. Accept any new ones you see. It easy to find quests.

For your talent trees, at low level it doesn't matter that much, but plan out how you are going to spend your points on the way, so if you plan to be retribution for instance, don't start putting points into holy at the start. Of course, you can pay some money to change your talents if you find you made a mistake. If you want more info on talents, read the posts at the top of the forum that are stickied.

For a profession, if you are still pretty new, take a gathering profession to start out with. These are mining, herbalism, and skinning. Your second profession can be what interests you the most, but on your first character you might even consider taking two gathering professions.

I seriously doubt anyone will compile a list of all of the quests for you to do from 1 - 10 (or any level range) here on the forum. There are people who have dedicated a great deal of effort to put together levelling guides that do exactly that, but even then they don't usually start until level 20 or 30. Expecting a list of everything to do right from the very beginning is just plain silly. If you don't know the zones and don't know efficient quest circuits, just do everything. You'll still level.

As for talents.. it's true that they really don't matter. I suggest putting points into talents that will increase your damage output and help you kill things faster. That's really the only comment I can make about that. You're right on the Ret tree though as far as speed-killing goes.

Professions -- I also suggest gathering profs. Any of them. Why not.. oh.. mining and skinning? That's a pretty potent combo.

I'm trying to be helpful, though I know this is much more general than what you asked for. Frankly, you sound like you want to be spoon fed straight from level 1, and no one is going to do that.

Yes the best thing to do, is NOT be in a hurry, take your time enjoy the game. Learn about what you want and don't want. Take every quest you see, do them all in a zone, then move on to the next (quest will tell you that)

Anyone here can point out a talent spec but you might feel the need to do something slightly different with your character based on how you play. So learn what the different talents ans skills are and what they do as you level up.

Not sure why putting our name and server would help(not sure how you got screwed with it's just information), but it's really not needed, this forum and an abundance of others out there offer some soild information, you just have to read it.

Wow can be easy mode or it can be difficult and time consuming...depends on how much effort you put into it, not how much you take from others....so in closing....

Get out there and READ.

Good Luck and have fun young Paladin!
