This probably seems a bit stupid but if you cast flamestrike in one spot then recast it again in the same spot... does it do double the damage?
yes and no. It will not stack the damage I believe. If you were to cast a rank 7 and then a rank 8 it will stack (which is what makes up part the highest dps aoe rotation, but is not easy at all to use).
