Ah srry didn't get time to finish fully typing out this post, was in a H nexus and sever was about to shut down. Meant to ask if I should open with hunger for blood x3 then get behind mult, then either envenom or go straight to slice and dice?
Oh and at the end of the run i out dpsed the hutner mwhahahahah I love this class! mult ftw please post with advise and or direction to see how mult should be done on boss fights and trash.(and what glyphs should I be going for as well would be nice to know.)

PvE Mutilate, fast and flawed advice
Daggers of nearly the same DPS? Use the faster ones.
Two good daggers of different speeds? Faster in the Offhand.
Mainhand Deadly Poison, Offhand Instant Poison.

Rotation:
* Before combat, get 3 stacks of Hunger for Blood up.
* Start up Slice and Dice however you please, really.

1. Mutilate to 4+ Combo Points
2. Make sure Hunger for Blood isn't going to drop soon. Refresh it if it will.
3. Is Rupture up? If yes, Envenom. Go to step 1.
4. Does Slice and Dice have >12 seconds left? If no, Envenom. Go to Step 1.
5. Rupture. Go to Step 1.

From Elitist Jerks. You don't "need" to be behind the mob as it doesn't matter for muti anymore, but you should be anyway as often as you can. Sides are fine on dragons and such. Pretty much when I'm not in combat, I'm always refreshing my HFB. I have it bound to my 2 key, and it's just constantly being pressed out of habbit now. You want to do 4/5pt ruptures and envenoms if possible, but remember that your snd will be refreshed to full even with 1cp envenoms.

As noted above from the EJ quote, it's not really a rotation as much as a flowchart. I tend to think of things in order of priority. HfB > SnD > Rupture. Right now I'm using the SnD, Rupture and Garrote glyphs as majors.

Positioning isn't just about Mutilate not needing it's old requirement, it's about removing Parry from the hit table. Imagine there is an arc of about 180-degrees behind boss mobs. That's the zone to be in more or less. If there is a tail swipe, move out to the edge of the arc. If you start seeing parries, move a bit back into the middle of the arc.

Link to the quoted Elitist Jerks post.

Good luck out there.

Wow ok thanks, I didn't even relize that Rupture should be thrown in the equation of things. My current dagger is main hand Namlak's Supernumerary Sticker(epic one-hand 150-280 dmg 1.50 speed), and my off hand is Unrelenting Blade(blue 140-211 dmg 1.50 speed.) Got those two from AH cheap lucky be4 they went back to like 700-1k each, only reason I did was to try out the new mult spec after reading about it from this site. Now ill work to find some better ones of corse but just wanted to get used to the new spec with those, oh and ill stick with staying behind the mob thing its just makes more sence if you really think about it. Plus it is nice knowing you won't get parried while trying to dps(I can't miss casue 600+ hit rating says "NO!")lol. Thanks again for the advice and I'll be back with more question again if any come to my mind.

Ha just got another question! Becasue I have such a high hit rating I was wondering if i could maybe respec to 51/5/15? Skip the 3% with daggers and 5 hit rating with weapond and poisons, and go straight for faster stealthed and Armor penitration?

The faster stealth and armor pen are less overall dps.

You want to stay the main muti spec. 51/13/7

As for glyphs, I use rupture vigor snd for mute.

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one that habitually presses his HFB key. The sad thing is that, when I respec'd to Combat for a week, I had the hardest time breaking that habit. I'd hit the key waiting for the animation to show on my toon only to realize that I was hitting a completely different key binding. Smiley: laugh
