I have had a lot of trouble remembering to check if brain freeze proc's. Has anyone found anything that will give you a better proc alert than just a little icon in the corner?

Thanks Anobix, I d/l mik's scrolling battle text and it works very nicely. I like how you can customize the sounds it makes when the cool downs are up.
I use ElkBuffBars. Its highly customizable and allows me to see (in text) what effect I have on me.
I normally catch it when it procs...dun see why it's hard to miss. I just catch it, or maybe i'm subconsciously looking for it.
I agree with Pig, I have more trouble ignoring it when it procs than noticing it.
