Yes, I know I don't have Helm gemmed, or enchantments on most of my gear. They are coming soon. With that being said, does this look like I'll be doing enough DPS to do heroics? I've checked around and most of the upgrades are slim outside of heroic drops.

Just wanted to make sure I'm not going to drag a group down. Thanks. ^^

gear isn't terrible for where you are at, but there should still be a good number of blues from regular instances. At the same time ~1200dmg and 8% crit is pretty low, albeit for frost spec you don't have any crit talents (minus winter's chill). I haven't ever had a problem in heroics but I went into them with more dmg with 70 gear so it may depend. Why wispcloak and not deathchill might I ask?

And, yeah, my crit is going to be awful, but there isn't much I can do aside from going to a Fire spec. How much +damage should I be looking for for heroics?

You should be okay to start heroics with what you have, just continue to work on pieces that up your crit rating a bit and damage of course, which you will get through 80 dungeons etc. check out wow-loot.com for some help.

Well, I've run some level 80 instances, and I've been mopping up on the DPS charts. My crist rating is low, but deceptively so. IF I can freeze something, my crit chance goes up by 50%. I have enough talents where I ought to be freezing things (or having them treated as frozen) about 20% of the time, which means my crit chance is really about 21%. Add molten armor and it goes up to 24%. Not quite as good as a Fire spec, but it seems to work well.
