Is there a macro I could make to dismiss my totem after use instead of having to right click it?
Not that I am aware of but at level 30 you get an ability called Totemic Call which will pull all your totems back up and refund you 1/4 of their mana cost.

Until you get Totemic call, there isn't any other way to get your totems up other than right clicking them.
Totemic call is nice though, especially since you can get some mana back from it.
