Anyone have/had this problem...

I can't summon my pet! I have that baby blizzard bear and some xmas pet, and wanna get rid of them. Can't abandon or drag and drop them. I don't know if thats the prob, but my real pet is not in my charater info. He is in stable. I tried to tame a new one, and get message that I have too many pets. Tried reveive, says my pet is not dead. Tried calling and says something like can't control an exotic pet. No help from Blizzard that works, yet..

What level are you?

How many stable slots do you own?

When you look at your pet tab, you should see Companion, pets, and mounts. Look in the pet subsection.

Once you "learn" a non combatant pet it will appear in your companions tab and you no longer need the "pet" in your bags.

Did you have the 51-point Beast Mastery talent, which allows you to tame an exotic pet? Did you then tame an exotic pet? And then did you respec away from Beast Mastery?

If you answered yes to the above... Well, that's your problem. If you have an exotic as your active pet, and you don't have Beast Mastery as a current talent, you can't summon the exotic pet.

Get an extra stable slot, switch out the exotic for something a little more mundane, and see if that helps.

Thanks for trying!

Well, I'm just level 30 something and only have a bear as a pet. No beast mastery yet, just 27? points there.Exotic is just the message I got. I thought maybe the baby bear or xmas was the problem. My stable only has two slots. I know I don't need them in my bag.

Greetings,

I have a similar issue. Could you go into more detail, about how you fixed the problem? Thanks in advance,

I know it's a bit late, but could this be the OP's problem?

I haven't actually heard anything about the bug with this particular pet recently, so it's possible it has not been fixed yet? According to the most recent comment on that article, it was still a problem as of November 6.
