I know this has been asked, but I don't remember what was said.
If i go 51 points in BM to tame an exotic and then respec to no longer have the Tame Exotic pet ability, do I lose my exotic pet?
I think it was "yes you do", but again I don't remember.

Someone said you don't lose the pet, but it stays in the stable and not usable until you respec back again.
That is correct. In beta I went 51 for an exotic, respecced on a login one day and the pet was unusable but still there.

I thought about taming the Spirit Tiger when I could (would look nice next to my Troll lol), but didn't want to stay 51 points into BM.
