There are some things wrong in that thread, like "blood is the best DPS, Gargoyle is higher DPS than DRW" etc.

Looking at recount, i usually see DRW doing more DPS (a hell of a lot more), but its not out as long as gargoyle, so gargoyle can win with a lot of ap trinkets/buffs before popping it. Ive also seen DRW do more damage many times as well, and since i can't be 2 specs at the same time (sorry i'm not that uber) i don't know, but i will say they are definitely comparable.
I've been playing around with both, and DRW is more dps. Gargoyle is nice though for some fights that move around alot. But you just cant beat the "fire and forget" of DRW.Gargoyle gets annoying cuz i accidently fire off a DC or two.

You can also get better DPS out of being DW specced, and the Garg vs DRW comparison is heavily based on what weapon you're using. Most people get higher DPS with DRW.
If you're trying to convince anyone that Unholy is superior to Blood or that Garg is superior to DRW (and I'm not saying they aren't), you're going to need a hell of a lot more proof to post something that's "final" in the eyes of most serious players*.
* "serious players" being code for "smart people".
I'm not trying to prove one spec is better than another, I honestly don't care what spec people go as long as they put points into logical spots, not 1 point here, 1 point there, oh and one here just for fun or b/c it's cool. Spec what tree you want. I've played every spec (except DW, cuz if I wanted to DW I wouldn't have rolled DK) and tanked pretty much every spec as well. I'm just passing on my personal experience. As blood I was pulling 2800, maybe 3k. As unholy I pulled 3.5k consistently, and broke 4.1k during one fight.
