So i know this guy on my server who uses a hybrid spec with duel-wield. I did wintergrasp with him and he topped dps meter with 3k+ dmg. Was pretty nice and his gear was like blues and **** ^^ atm im blood, But now i got an insane hit rating (468) after doing naxx25.

My question is, what is the hit cap for this spec? I can see from my guys armory that he has 368 hit which is less then me. And dont say the hit cap is 9% because its gotta be higher when you duel-wield. Its just logical.

edit: I should add that no dual-wielder I've seen or heard about is actually hitting the auto-attack (aka "white damage") cap. Most are going for specials/spell caps and shifting priorities from there.

so 28% is not something you should aim at?
I also cap expertise rating with 23 atm (think the cap for duel wield is 21).

The first reply was right on the button. You want to hit the spell hit cap which is 17%. 14% if you spec Virulence in the Unholy tree.
