Been slowly working my way towards 80 and have been looking to "upgrade" my land mount. I know that there is a mammoth that you can get when you hit revered with of course the name of the faction eludes me, but what else is there? I've seen bears that are sort of like the long lost amani war bears that you used to be able to try and get in BC raids, but who should I start to focus on rep grinding with for a newer mount?
No rep really gives a new land mount. You can fork over ~800g for an armored brown bear. You can kill all opposing faction leaders for a Black Armored bear. Wyrmrest accord has a red drake with exalted. Heroic CoS can give a bronze drake. Hero Sartharion (sp) can give a few different kinds. Mammoth from marks. not really sure what else there is.
There's a white polar bear that can drop from the reward of the Hyldir(?) dailies.
There's a whole butt load of mounts you can get from achievements.

Heroic UP also drops a mount, 3rd boss.
The heroic COS drake is cool, but pretty common, as it's really not that hard to get.

There is a mammoth you can buy from the sons of hondir at revered, cost around 800g, then they have one at exalted that cost 8k, but that one can take passengers.
