Does searing totem seem to draw more aggro now?Follow

The aggro range on this seems to be much higher. I see mobs like 15 maybe even 20 yards away aggroing to whack it. But my presence doesn't aggro, just the totem. Annoying as I'm resto and need the extra dps sometimes (most times lol). I also have some issues with the searing totem not firing at "new" mobs. By new I mean a 2nd mob I draw into the area after defeating the first. Usually it works, but sometimes it seems to acquire a target so slow. It seems easier to lay a new one.

This totem has gotten me in so much trouble over the years. I don't know why I contintue to use it lol. Sometimes I wonder why I play a shaman, but I'm a shaman at heart.

So feel free to share any funny searing totem stories. I have one in SMV. Where you lay some food down for the elite dragons flying overhead to eat. But I still had a searing totem leftover from killing the whelps needed to get the food for the dragons. So I put out the food, dragon comes flying down and starts eating. But before he finishes, searing totem blasts, him and I have an elite dragon on my ***. He killed me before I could get out of range.
