Got my Black War Bear, respecced again (only my 29th!), broke 1000 achievement points, and got my epic PvP trinket.
I'll be doing 2v2 and 5v5 tonight (or maybe just 5v5) after MNF, too.

Tanked UTK for the first time as Blood :D. Wasnt that hard really just basically the same as dpsing but with DnD thrown in for group pulls.
Just dinged (perhaps 'dung' is more grammatically correct?) 80.

Ran some heroics last night when it was way past the time I should sleep. Raids usually go until 12:30, but I figured I was only 2k rep away from getting Wyrmrest Exalted. Since I've run UK heroic at least 10 times and have yet to see the plate pants drop I've been slowing building up Wyrmrest rep for their exalted pants. And being Blood, the Armor Penetration isn't a complete loss to me. So after hitting exalted, promptly spent 1700g in 5 seconds (Drake, pants, and JC design).
Ran like 3 more heroics and got some gear for my off spec, but stupid me I didn't need on the polearm that drops from Heroic VH. But I was able to get some good tanking gear. So after I finished it all around 2 am, decided to clear up my bank space and get rid of some of the 50+ armor that I had in there. Crafted me the Stamina + Dodge figurine and gemmed and enchanted everything I could. So even though I'm not defense capped yet (510 ish), in my DPS spec I did a quick equip and check. 26k HP unbuffed. That'll come in handy when I'm asked to OT during raid nights.

Got the plate helm of him, so that means i only have 3 blues left.
I'll get the cloak crafted so just a ring and trinket left after that ;)

About 5 minutes ago, as a lvl 78 DK I soloed the quest A Hero's Burden which involves killing two lvl 77 elites. No-one else was in the cave to lend a hand, either, so it really WAS solo. Even my son, who was watching, was impressed 
My paladin would have had no chance, I reckon.

Minor achievement, finally got rid of all my crappy Mail gear so finally my DK looks badass from top to bottom.
Major achievement, killed a Frost Mage and a Ret Paladin at the same time while out questing, equal level and reasonably close to my gear level. Silenced the Mage, bursted him down (no escape for him) and then popped AMZ to protect myself from the Ret's Judgements; went Stun immune and unloaded on the new guy. Locked out his Holy School, done.

About to leave for Detroit for the GLI and then Chicago for the NHL Winter Classic.
Since I was raised in Chicago (thus a Cubs fan), but am a Red Wings fan at heart, this is pretty much the most amazing week of my life, watching the Blackhawks get trounced on Wrigley Field.

Accomplished killing Loken in heroic HoL with a pug after SIX wipes...

Managed to hit 76 last night and get Fo' Grizzle My Shizzle done. 6-7 more quests for Might of Dragonblight. Should be able to move on to Zul'Durak and Sholazar Basin later today.

Started my 3rd DK. She is lvl 58 Unholy human female and ...is going to be my PvP toon. Took her into AV just in DK blues and was able to actually take some towers and GY by myself and defend them. Usually I'm the clothy healer getting 2 shotted.

But my all-time favorite accomplishment? The one that I'll never forget. Is simple really, it was making it onto the boat.
I took a ride to Menethil and was going to take the boat to Fjord. Just as I landed I noticed the boat was already sitting at the dock. Oh lucky me I won't have to wait at all. I quickly mounted up and ran straight for the boat hoping I would make it. Closer and closer I got. I'm going to make it. I'm going to make it. I was almost there when the boat started to pull out. Nooo! My heart sank, I didn't think I was going to make it. That was for a brief second and then I thought "I can still make it". I kicked my spurs deep into my horse's flank. I reached the edge of the dock and ran a slight distance towards the direction the boat was moving. My horse jumped at the very corner edge of the dock. My horse soared through the air. "I'm not going to make it" I thought. That's when I landed on a very small protruding board on the outside of the ship. *#&$@ I made it! "Good jump!", one of the other passengers commented. Wow! I actually made it! That was one of the coolest things I've ever done in this game. It's simple really but that was one helluva jump.

This made me laugh. I don't know how many ships I've missed but at least in WoW you do have a chance. FFXI you were screwed when the airship left.
Managed to knock out Dragonblight, half the Basin and half of Zul'Drak. Soloed the majority of the group quests in Dragonblight at 77-78.
Practically abandoned my rogue as my main. Kind of sad, but I'm having too much fun with DK.
Hit level 80 last night with 562 defense. Will be trying out some heroics this weekend.
Getting 4pc Tier 7 and then breaking 4100 dps with a crappy hunter weapon from 10 man 4 horsemen. Can't wait til I get a real weapon.
Getting exalted with all 5 (even kaluak) lich king factions. Now I go without a tabard b/c supposedly I'll get horde expidition rep.
