hi everyone,
This is my first time posting here in the mage forums, so please forgive me if i missed something. Now i had been playing my mage ever since tbc came out, and i love the fact that i can do very good damage and have a reliable cc. However it seems to me that i am stuck at around 2.3k average with raid buffs (in a 10 men naxx run http://wowwebstats.com/rnpmzzvdul1ei)and i am totally lost on what i should be improving first. I am currently ffb spec and i was thinking should i go ahead and forget about burning soul and take frost channeling since they don't stack and less mana is always welcome. My rotations are lb, scorch x2, then ffb away pyroblast when the buff comes up...etc
Also, i am still not 100% sure to value crit more than haste, since i have seen how much it helps when there is an ele shaman/moonkin on the team..

Good work on #1 dps there.
1) You are missing a lot of enchants. Weapon, bracers, shoulders, legs, belt buckle are all missing.
2) You are missing a lot of buffs: spriest/boomkin for hit etc, elemental shaman for totem of wrath, etc.
Haste is nice, but not as important as it is for FFB. I will run it through rawr when I get some time today and show you the values that come up on how you should be spending your points.
Also, what's with the mp5 gems? I would either be doing +spelldmg or spelldmg/stam (survivability > measly mp5 regen).

Turns out armory-lite is bad at enchants. The normal armory link showed all of them up perfectly fine (unless you did them between when I first posted and now).
Your enchants look excellent. After running your stuff through rawr:
So as you can see, keep stacking spellpower where you can and get crit when available and you will be doing great. with proper raid buffs it TCs you to be able to do 3.5k-4k in a 5 minute fight (think patchwerk).

thx anobix for the reply, i dont usually use armory lite myself, just that blizzard's armory was busy at the time,
i will try to hunt down those + crit upgrade if possible..(somehow they seems kinda rare to find..)hope i can get it that high in patchwerk fight..(our last attempt wasn't that great)as for the gems...they are the best one i can find at the ah atm, seems every jc only have the +ap/ +str version =(
