Blood dps - all about death runes?Follow

So I´ve read around and I have come to understand a couple of things: (DRs = Death Runes)

1. You need a rotation
2. You dont want to have 1 sec free where you cant spend RP or blow you runes on something.

Ofc the last thing is said on the bases that you dont want to just blow your runes on a stupid rotation, so 1+2 go together.
My post is about death runes and since I'm blood specced my experience so far evolves around having my death runes up to get a good rotation going (3xHS)

I saw a rotation of 4xHS, but I learned that I couldn't really do much after 4xHS, I had no death runes. I needed to use OB everytime I wanted my DRs up. I am fairly new to this class and have NOT yet tried a unholy dps specc yet, since I´ve grown to love the blood spec.

From other rotations I used I increased my dps quite significantly. I use my trinket at certain times, and I use my DRW when I have full RP and its a good time to use it. Ofc at the start since the CD will be ready to use again, DWR. Here is my rotation:

Spec: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=jfVMqh0IsbRxzAoG0x0hZfM

1.PS-IT-HS-HS-OB-DC
2.HS-HS-HS-DC(i dont have any runes up and I burn my RP)-OB

Always keep diseases up is just basic knowledge. I look at my runes and see how they are acting. If I see no death runes I wanna remind myself to OB and get them going. I look at my target and my CD on IT and PS, and my runes, AND see if the diseases is up not. I try to think how later in my rotation this will effect. I wanna get my 2xHS or 3xHS in for max dmg, and ofc my OB to get my DRs going.

is this just sh*t or what you guys think?

thats the right spec, although i like improved rune tap as blood, but thats just me.

From what you say, thats how blood is supposed to be played.
Blood almost never has a spot when all runes are down if you arent spamming oblit on your death runes, in fact i usually have way too much to do and i'm using oblit just because i'll get rune backlogged due to dumping death coils and sudden death procs.
Anyways prioritizing tends to max your dps more than rotations, you look like you're doing exactly what you should be doing.
The biggest issue with most DK specs in my opinion is that they need some time to set up their dps rotation. diseases + death rune converts takes up the whole first part of your rotation. unholy can get away w/this because diseases do so much damage as unholy, but frost and blood take a bit of time before they start up. its not really a bad thing, just part of the class and it makes planning the first 6-8 seconds of a fight is important to edging your dps up to its max potential.

I presonaly, open with OB. Then stack my DOTS followed by BS. I can often get 5 on average, 6 at a push then just use OB when the dots have about 0.5-1sec left. This is a very tight roation and with Blood Tap, does give you a blood rune to burn on something else.

I would refer to the DK DPS thread. That rotation is pretty much the opposite of optimal.
