ok man enough with the jokeing. plate starts at lvl 40 so no way you could never have seen it from 40 to 62.

In the interest of being the kinder, gentler Jeebar, I'll recommend that if you really want to learn how to play this druid that you picked up somehow. (we all think it's IMPOSSIBLE that you could level to 62 without knowing that druids can only wear cloth or leather armor) then quickly, before you get downrated into oblivion, check out the two stickies: the invaluable and mandatory "read me first" post, and the resources linked in the WLK resources thread. WLK update...hell you need to start with the basic class description page on the worldofwarcraft.com site: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/druid/

Just for the record, young grasshopper...

Warriors and paladins can wear mail or less up to level 40, and at 40 they get the ability to wear plate.

Shaman and hunters can wear leather or less up to level 40, and at 40 they get the ability to wear mail.

Druids and rogues can wear leather or less up to level 40, and at 40...nothing changes.

Warlocks, mages, and priests can wear cloth or less (naked, much?) up to level 40, and at 40...nothing changes.

Death Knights start out at level 55, and I'm pretty sure they can wear plate from the get go, but I haven't played one and haven't read up on them much at all.

All clear? Enjoy!

Yup. They start you out in a set of plate armor (greens) and then in the DK starting area that levels you from 55-58, all the pieces get upgraded via quest reward to an awesome-looking set of blues.
