One of the things I want to do after dinging 80 (apart from new spells), is to go back into Start Live and clean up some quests in my log. A big hindrance at 70 was the rat trap--I just couldn't get anything off. Any tips for getting past the rats? Can I use the side entrance? (I have the key).
Due to the fact that your spells can only be interrupted twice the rats are no longer a problem. You can actually get a seed of corruption off or not have your rain of fire instantly canceled.
However, if you still have problems for some reason, the eye of kilrog will set the trap. So just get away from where the rats would run and send your eye in then you can just walk by.

I think my fears are a little unfounded, really. I just took on 6 level 79's (I'm 78 now) in The Storm Peaks, and my health really never dipped below 40%.
seeing as i could solo strat at lvl.70.. lvl. 80 it's a complete breaze. just constantly run + dot, everything dies i stay alive :)
