I've heard it different ways from different people but I figured the Allakhazam DK community could give me a final and definitive answer: can you put one of the DK runes on one of those super-cool bind on account weapons (say for example that badass axe that costs 65 emblems of heroism) or am I better off just saving my emblems? I already bought the PvP plate shoulders for my DK with stone keeper's shards and I want to know if the axe is a worthwhile investment for leveling purposes. Thanks.
the mentality i thought they were goin for is that the BoA heirloom items can be enchanted only by things any level 1 character of any class could use
considering runeforging a BoE soulbinds itself to you, i doubt you can runeforge and ship elsewhere
its like rogue poisons, not designed to be used with any other classes
otherwise, how many warriors would be running around with rune of fallen crusader?

you can fiery weapon a level 1 white dagger and pass it around cuz it isnt soulbound
if you runeforge/poison a level 1 white dagger, it soulbinds it until the enchant goes away

You cannot runeforge heirloom items.
Balls, I was hoping you could runeforge it but the rune would be lost on mailing to a non-DK character. Do you guys think it would even be worth it then to get a BoA weapon for a Death Knight or do the Runes beat out having a constant blue quality weapon with fiery on it?
Death Knights start out at 55 and gain some incredible gear out of their starter area. I don't see a big use for BoA on a DK.
