I was under the impression that these were no longer getting the 370%
multiplier. But have been told that this is incorrect. Whats the actual
case ?

We are no longer getting that multiplier on trinkets, cloaks, necklaces, or rings, as I understand it. We still get the multiplier on leather and cloth items.

There is a blue post saying they're changing it so you don't recieve the bonus.

The bonus in question is the "extra" armor on items. Take the old PVP items for instance where the armor value is in green tekst because it has more armor than a usual item. An item like that would get the 370% increase calculated from the base armor and then the "extra" armor as a flat number added on top.

Ekample:
Vindicators leather belt
Armor 258
In bear 258*4,7=1212,6

Vindicators dragonhide belt
Armor 300
In bear (258*4,7)+42=1254,6

The 258 armor in the last example is a best guess based on other items on the same level. Also i didn't use all the extra armor from talents and whatnot, so please don't knitpick the math. It's just as an eksample of how litte we get from bonus armor after the patch.

In before the grammar/spelling police. Don't bother fixing his English. He gets the point across. If you don't want to read it as it, go away.

Where ya from DK?

Denmark it is. I would think my very innovative username gave it away :)

I'm sorry if the spelling is a bit off. I usually type faster than my fingers can handle. I hope the message doesn't drown in the grammar mess.

P.S. A little punctuation goes a long way, so here's a few extra to put in where you see fit ,,,,.....

No apologies necessary, it was quite readable. I'm honestly one of the types who notice those kind of things first, and I didn't even see your mistakes until someone else mentioned it. ;)

The thing is none of the changes have dropped yet so we are still using old gear methods while gathering gear for the new style. It is kind of irritating to be honest. I just want the patch and armor changes all ready. I have just about all the gear I need to transition smoothly. Now I just want the change so I can free up more bags space.
