Another Change, Please ?Follow

Always wondered why it worked that way but it's so rarely an issue that it doesn't bother me. I can think of maybe going afk when a kid cries or something and comin back to find my pet has defended me by killing whatever and I can't loot. I'm generally happy enough I'm not running as a ghost that I can look over it.

I wonder if it breaks a weapon faster than a cumulation (sp?) of shots of equal number. Meaning if you shoot 8 enemies with vollew for 20 hits vs one enemy at a time, 20 shots per for 8 enemies, would the damage to the weapon be greater? I kinda suspect that it just counts each hit on each enemy toward the damage on the weapon and if that is the case then I'd think it is fair. I will gladly put out a couple more gold per run to do godly dps.

I always suspected it had more to do with keeping you from getting xp.

In the extreme example with an anti-afk addon you could easily set up in some place where a mob or two pats through and go to bed. Pet can easily handle a mob at a time like that all night. May not add up to much, but figure a mob every couple of minutes or so for 8-16 hours/day while you're asleep/at work.

In northrend that could add up to a quarter to a third of a level or so all while you're afk.
