Dropped my t7 pants last night, that really made up for the subsequent 5 wipes. That is such a fun fight, stand there and pewpew while moving around occasionally, and my epeen was really stroked by leading the 25man raid in dps at 2500 or so, with the raid leader/main tank (it was a pug) congratulating me on my efforts.
We promptly did it again on 10 man, with under 5 minutes to go, as Wintergrasp was going to reset. But alas, only plate dropped that round. Well one can't get too greedy I guess :)

But uhm, you where top dps with 2.5k dps over the fight? That somehow explains those 5 wipes *giggles*.
Expect a lot more dps once you are geared. Our hunters usually do between 3.9-4.5k dps in that fight.

Not for long.....
Yeah, a lot of the raid was under the 1600 dps recommended (by wowwiki), that and the off-tank died damn near instantly on the first 3 wipes be fore he was replaced.
