I stupidly bought the necklace first.
Check out rawr and see what would be the biggest dps upgrade. I'm guessing it will either be a tier piece or the sundial.

Instead I went necklace (since replaced), sundial, offhand.

Unless your gear is utter crap, the Sundial should likely be the biggest upgrade for the vast majority of folks. Definitely a solid choice.

I made the spellweave gloves, so I don't think I'll be buying the t7 first. Not a huge difference.
I don't get to run heroics as often as I like and raiding is near impossible for me, plus my guild is nowhere near being ready for that.

Are pure +spellpower trinkets (crescent, alchemy) a thing of the past now?
Sure with FFB, crit is a great stat to have. Does the proc make up for lost spell power?
As I've upgraded my gear from 70-80, my crit has gone up, while my spell power remains in the same ballpark as it was at 70 (around 1200). I haven't started raiding yet, and am just now getting into heroics.

You will be getting a nice chunk of spellpower from all the rest of your gear (and your gemming for the most part). crit + 10sec (huge) spelldmg procs seems to be the way to go right now. (that or the illustration of the dragon soul, or whatever it is called is like the DMC: Crusade and is easily best in slot).

Aren't they nerfing that one quite a bit?
I recall it being changed to 18 per proc instead of 24.
Pciked up the trinkey last night, it works wonderfully. +80 some crit and the spellpower proc is huge. It procs often enough was well, although I wish there was more off a visual cue so I could atleast try to time icy veins or save my brain freeze for a second or two.
Trinket is 3rd for me because I was lucky enough to get the Spider from Naxx and right after that a BoP world drop Je´Tze´s Bell (yes I know the equip proc is for healers but 106 Spell power is pretty cool and will last until I get the Sundial).
I got the offhand and belt.
It felt kind of weird parting with my beloved Belt of Blasting. With the gems I had in both I gave up on 30 crit and 3 spell power to gain 10 hit, 49 Stam and 52 Int.
Meh.
