Rogues should be doing very high dps if not the highest dps for some fights. If that isn't happening we will buff them (ideally in a way that does not inflate their PvP damage potential).

There is a known bug with Honor Among Thieves where multiple rogues with the ability in one group generate too many combo points. It isn't our intent that this bug make up any PvE dps deficiency.

A similar bug was mentioned months ago where only one rogue in a group would receive combo points frequently if other people in the group received a lot of crits. This is working as intended as far as we can tell. (Source)

We're gonna get buffed me thinks.

Buffage? I hope so. It's getting really frustrating to have gone from top o' the meters on KJ to high-mid with several best in slot upgrades.... The worst part is that I'm feeling like more of a drag on raid potential than a help. There have been a few fights (the 2-drake Sartharion run especially) where I kept thinking to myself "if only we had a bit more damage...".... grrrrr.

I'm curious to figure out how they're going to buff our PvE dps without effecting PvP at all. Sounds like they're currently happy with our PvP performance. Hmmm.

Honestly, I'm surprised that HaT hasn't been fixed already but not shocked at all that it's coming.

a buff that won't effect pvp to much.
i'm putting my money on a change in deep combat, mainly because its the least used tree in pvp and blizz likes to make dps class button spam so back to slamming ss and snd again :?

I'm predicting one of a few possible changes. A radical boost to SnD's duration might be one of them (White damage plays a bigger part in pve than pvp.) Another might be some changes to both deep combat and deep assassination, since pvp variants of both builds have 21+ points in sub and skip the 41-51 point talents anyways.

Last might be pve-cooldowns like haste buffs or something. Yay more buttons? Preferably not..

Simply buff SnD to like 35% or some other number that will bring us inline. It won't really affect pvp.

What Elustriel said, I think. While Banatu is right that white damage is important in PvE, I don't think upping S&D's duration is the answer; the problem is not keeping it up, the problem is that it's not strong enough to bring us in line.

Give us a talent that removes glancing blows.

Or hell, even reduces them.. glancings eat up so much dps it makes sad pandas sad. 35% SnD is a good thought as well.
