Does anyone know if there is an addon that will let you know when hotstreak is up. I know to watch the crits but sometimes I am not paying attention
MSBT(I can't remember the full name of it). I have mine set to make war drum sounds when I get a proc.
Hotstreak, unlike Missle Barraage, has it's own sound effect. Like Poldaran, who I will never forgot again, I use Mikes combat scrolling text augment it.
can also use the addon powerauras to put a bubble around your character while you have it (or any other buff) good as a reminder to put living bomb back up as well I believe.

I prefer this, I used MSBT (Mik's scolling battle text btw , not Mike ;-> )... for a while, but sometimes there's a real flurry of activity, and I miss the proc ... I play with sound only half the time, so I can't used that as a reliable trigger.
WIth Poweraura, you can set a flashy visual notification (Mine's a red oval of runes around my character), which let's you know instantly what happened. It also stays up for the full duration of the buff, which is nice. I also have FoF aura'd as a blue circle ... so if they both proc, I have 2 auras around my character ...
I'll find it hard to go back to text based notifiers.

I was messing with it last night and could not get it to work for me. Can you take an SS of the settings for Hot Streak in powerauras and post it here?

Sorry Anobix, haven't been back here since my last comment ... I'll get you a SS as soon as I can get back into the game (realms are down now for maintenance)

imageshack.us or photobucket work well. Can just do a seach for free image hosting and I'm sure you will get hundreds of hits.
Have to agree with Powerauras classic, i tried using the msbt and parrot but still missed some. It is nearly impossible to miss with powerauras unless you fall asleep at the keyboard. I also have it set to aura Brain freeze when i frost spec.

got powerauras and love it. you guys rock. thanks so much. I use it to let me know when other spells are off and on and it has helped greatly

sweet pic. how did you get you action bars all grouped like that. I have action bars all around my comp to keep them available. I like the set up you have much better. is it an add on or something you do thru the game interface?
dominos or bartender4 will do that for you.
Bartender 4 for the hotbars, and used kgpanels for the backplate, xperl for the raidframes
edit: and fubar for top/bottom info-hotlink bars
