#1 Dec 14 2008 at 9:06 AM Rating: Default
This might sound sill but I havent played in about 6 months and when I got back on I srinted to level 50 without stopping for Grimoires.

I am a hume with the Alliance and I used to go to gold shire for my pets grimiores now she wont even talk to me. I have searched and searched and cannot seem to find who to go to for new grimiores.

Please help!

your pet automatically learns his abilities now. No more need for them.

Blizz intended to remove grimoires in WoTlk. Haven't checked if it is already done, but that might be the reason. (Pets automatically learn new spells now/later)

Grimoires haven't been completely removed since I picked up two while running Stratholme tonight. I'm guessing they're absolutely useless now that the demons learn new abilities without them.

Has anyone found the Ritual of Doom grimoire, or completed the quest?
They really should make that a learned spell, if not, then scale the elites in Blasted Lands accordingly, because they hit really hard for their level. Even with another 70+ with me, we could not get one to drop because we spent all our time trying to kill the felguards all over.

it's not a 'required' spell, so imo it's fun having a quest chain for it, makes it more worthwhile :)
