Morning all,
I'll be the first to admit I've not done an exhaustive search of this site, merely a quick skim through, so if the answers I seek are posted elsewhere I can only apologise in advance.
I am, primarily, tank specced. I find it fun, entertaining and challenging. However, more recently I have been tempted to...heal. This worries me more than a smidge- I'm generally the healee, not the healer. I've not run any instances as yet, but I have healed for various group quests with no issues. I realise this is in no way a benchmark for instance healing, more a dipping my toe in the water.
My main question is this; The only +spell plate and rings I have is from WoTLK quest rewards. This gives me approximately +975 SP. Now from what I know of +heals for KZ, this was considered borderline acceptable for rolling as 2nd string healer. With the SP I have, along with a full respec, am I going to be in any sort of shape to heal normal 5-man Wrath content ( Lvl appropriate, obviously). I do plan on staying primarily tankboy, but we seem to have lost a boat load of healers from our guild ( and mysteriously we now have half a dozen new DK's on strength). I have no aspirations of being one of the main Raid Healers, but being able to switch out gear and spec for 5 man content would be a good thing.
If anyone can shed any light, or throw some pointers my way, either gear related or skill 'must-haves' it would be appreciated.
Apologies for the length of my post- I've been in work 4 hours already, and tend to waffle when tired :)
Regards,
Snorri
