I just was hoping if I came up with random questions someone might answer. I wanted to get into groups more so I decided to try a priest. How mages have mana gems and evocation to restore mana, do we get anything similar?

Priests get Shadowfiend at level 66. We also obtain a slightly less usefull spell named Hymn of Hope at level 60.

Most of the time you will simply be regenerating mana by not casting for a bit, though.

Asides from trinkets, we have a shadowfiend (pet summoned for a short time restores mana as it dmgs the target you place it on), Inner Focus in the disc tree (click it you next spell costs no mana), Hymn of Hope (channelled spell that gives you AND your group mana over time), I'm a Blood Elf, so I have my racial that restores a small portion of mana (arcane torrent). Depending how you spec in your talent trees there are many other options for improving you mana regen.

Of course if you go shadow you will have spells that regen mana through your dmg for you and your group. Just depends if you want to melt faces or heal XD.

I know this doesn't answer the question but it might help to answer the reason why you're asking;

Priests have less down time drinking and eating than mages. I was surprised with my shadow priest and how quickly they level and how they hardly need to stop and drink or regain mana.

I've stopped playing my mage. I haven't stopped playing my priest.

Yeah, but mages get to make strudels at 80. That's automatic win right there.

I didn't roll a mage to be a vending machine.

But seriously, strudels, come on strudels. Possibly the best pastry ever created.

If I was a mage I wouldn't be a vending machine either. I would be all:

"HAHA you poor pathetic saps, I have strudels and you are stuck sipping some crappy tea."
