I now have about 40 new herioc badges and I am looking for a nice piece to buy that will increase
my dps a lot. I am willing to keep saving for the best item to get first, but I am looking at the vendor in Darlaran above the portals and I do not see anything great? am I blind? lol
My biggest concern is the chestguard on page 3. Sorry don't have complete name because the server is updateing right now! This chest piece has no stats listed? All it says is its for hunter , shamen etc???
Is this something you would take to a different vendor to trade in?
lol I am so lost!

Thank you for bit of light you can shed on this situatiion..

I believe these would be the new Heirloom items that are bound to account. What I found is:

They Bind to Account. You can mail them between characters from same faction. Item stats scale to the level of the character. The same as a blue item of the character's level. Armor pieces will change based on the type of the gear the character is capable of wearing, i.e. Plate will change to mail for characters under 40.

No, the "chest piece with no stats" is actually the token for the tier 7 chestpiece you can turn it at another vendor (I know this can be confusing).
So, yes, with your badges (from 10 mans or heroic or the "better badges" from 25mans) you can buy two pieces of your tier 7 gear.

The thing you likely want to buy with your 40 badges is the nice trinket with 84 crit on it and 1k ap as a proc (with a bit less than 1ppm as it seems).

Awesome ty for the help.. do you by any chance know where the vendor is to trade in the chest piece for the t7 one?
I am thinking of saving up for the chest piece and getting that trinket later! Is that a good idea? or is that trinket really good?

there is also a very good badge neck on the first page. I looked at the 10 man t7 chest and wasn't overly impressed when compared to the two available from factions. ebon blade (leather) and the alliance faction (forget the exact name).

Argent Crusade - gun, cloak, epic chest and leather boots.

Grind ebon blade to revered for shoulders/2H and head enchant.

The trinket is very good but generally it is accepted you need about 25% crit for it to proc regularly so you might want to wait. I have 26% crit now it procs alot, when I had less than 20% crit rate it barely procced at all.

Neck is very good IMO.

Gloves or chest for the 2 piece set bonus. The argent crusade chest is better if you are not looking for set bonus.

Gloves are not so good for me as they have no hit or crit, which are the stats I am really trying to balance, there are plenty of hit pieces out there though, and crit is all over stuff in Naxx.

All in all badges come pretty easy though so buy what you want:)

Awesome thanks for the advice guys.. I am already revered with ebon blade so on my way for the shoulders... my crit is 21 % that trinket would raise it to almost 23 %
do you think the necklace is a better way to go for now? Sorry for all the questions,
I am just new to epic gear and want to get the best possible items for my dps..
Thanks again guys I really appreciate you taking the time to help me.

My personal advise would be to go for T7 gloves > new trinket > necklace > T7 chest.

This because the Argent Crusade chest is better than T7 unless the T7 chest gives you the 2pc bonus.
