Fresh lvl 80, pls help!Follow

Hello all. I know I don't post much, but I read the boards every day. I have gotten so much info from these forums and I am very grateful :)
I now turn to the alla priest community for some advice.

My toon recently dinged 80 and I'm very excited about hitting heroics and raiding. If possible I would like some constructive criticism on my character. My main concern is if my numbers like spellpower (1500 plus self buffed) & my mana regen is good enough to get me started on my quest for purples. My spec is kind of a healer who can farm type of deal with spirit tap & more dmg on holy spells. When dual specs come out I will switch to a full on raiding/instancing build for healing. Until then I need it like this to make dailies more bearable LOL.

Any advice on gear upgrades, gemming & enchants will be greatly appreciated.

Your numbers look pretty good for starting out at 80. If it was me, I'd lose the spirit tap and get into my level 80 end game talent spec. Be aware that you can heal as Holy or Disc. You might find full Disc interesting as a "healer who can farm" type build.

Heroic Violet Hold is my favorite. I've made it a personal daily :) You can one shot it in about 30 mins. Down 3 bosses (two of which are random so it stays a little interesting), grab some badges, up your rep, maybe get some good gear :). It is a bit like Black morass in the way that if you wipe, you start over... Although not a bad way to farm some rep... It goes in waves of portals, so there are plenty of chances to sit down and have a drink for those who are lacking in the mana regen area.
The instance is in Dalaran, where you would pick up the daily heroics, just across the bridge. I highly suggest this run :) Very priest friendly.

I've been running heroic VH like crazy and it has worked out well. As tanks are getting better gear & reaching 540 defense, it's making my life MUCH easier!

Can't wait to get into Naxx & really having fun lol.
