Hey guys,

I was just wondering what boots would be the better option for a fire mage:

I've replaced a few haste pieces with crit as that is what's important for a fire mage, but I have been noticing my dps dropping a little, so does haste>crit?

Haste is not > crit, but they are about even, you just can't stack all of one and ignore the other, they need to be balaced.

That being said, the epic boots are far superior. More spelldmg (which is our #1 stat), a socket (tons more damage potential), and more overall stats.
